Assistant Superintendent
The Yogi Course is a new construction, located along the Cumberland Plateau just outside of McMinnville, TN. We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Superintendent to join our leadership team. This is a unique chance to be part of the construction and grow-in process from the ground up, developing the structure of our agronomic programs, and bringing to life a premier golf destination. Expectations for this position are high. You will be required to perform all duties on the course to include crew management, chemical and fertilizer applications, along with irrigation scheduling and repair. You will report directly to the Superintendent, and be able to serve in that capacity in his absence. You will need the ability to prepare clear and concise reports along with overseeing safety protocols and OSHA standards. You will need to have a current Tennessee pesticide applicators license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days. In return you will be mentored to become a successful Golf Course Superintendent, to include continuing education with an emphasis on networking, budget development, and management skills. The Yogi Course will consist of Pure Distinction greens along with warm season tees and fairways. Roughs will consist of both warm and cool season varieties along with prominent native grasses planted in shoulder areas.

Minimum of a 2 year degree in turf related field or certification with an acceptable amount of experience. Minimum of 2 years in golf course maintenance with supervisory experience preferred. Construction or grow-in experience is a plus.
